peek inside archives

How often have you been browsing the web looking for a file, only to be faced with a zipped up file and you're not sure what it contains? What if you want only one file but are stuck downloading a bunch of others just to get the one you want? There is a way around all this now, with a Firefox extenision called Archview. Here's how it works: Go to the page with the file you want. Here's the one I was looking at:

Now click the download link. Archview will automatically open in a new tab. Select which view you want:

If you don't want all the files, Archview allows you to download just the one you want. Just right click the file.

Works with .zip and .rar files, and is a great way to avoid downloading a bunch of crap you don't want.
