You can set your feed to only be viewable upon approval, in which case it won't show on your profile to people not on your approved list. My feed is private, and I have to approve followers. Not sure why I bothered with that since I rarely ever use the damn thing! LOOOL

@CornellWeasel -

I love Twitter... OMHO, its THE hottest social networking site out there right now.  Jewels is correct on the "follower approval" deal.
Although... its designed to be public and to share and collaborate.

You can find me there @

I started twittering a couple of weeks ago when  friend convinced me. I haven't really had time to explore it and discover the ins and outs. I am, however, totally going to follow swytch.

Thanks for the feedback you guys. I'll probably create a fake twitter to test, for now. I'll stop by to say hello switchy. Smiley

I hate to bump an old topic but I can't "new topic" yet...I'm a noob!

I was wondering if there's any way to find someone on twitter only knowing their email address, it seems as if you have to know their username or you have to "invite" them, which...I just want to know if they're on there, not necessarily send them some kind of invitation from my own email!

Does anyone know more about this, or just about finding people on twitter in general?

(PS I looooove the forum. You guys have helped me so much, just reading stuff since I signed up.)
