Fingerlink,
Thank you!!! Smiley You were very clear in your explanation -- now I understand it all a lot better, and my only regret is that I tied up Justy's time on a wild-goose chase when there was nothing wrong in the first place. Embarrassed

I use HITS a lot, it's how I check up on changes to my target's page. The good news is that she doesn't have a tracker (and probably doesn't know they exist). I still freaked out when I saw my 2 trackers displayed and was, as you said, erroneously thinking that the tracker-blocker should be blocking them from display on HITS.

Thanks so much again for clearing it all up for me! Smiley

I use HITS for the same reason. It's a good resource without having to go to an individual's page.

Quick question:

is anyone familiar with how thespacetracker.com operates?  Does anyone know if it uses images to track visitors?  I'm assuming so, because my target has an image on their profile.  I blocked it using ad blocker plus, and I think I'm safe, unless this specific tracker uses something other than images to track.

Any information you could provide me with would be greatly appreciated:) !

yes it's an image.

I've updated the subscription to include their alternate domain.

Now that AdBlock works for Chrome, will we still be able to use the She-geeks tracker blocker? Apologies if this has been addressed -- searching for "adblock chrome" didn't bring up any results.
