okay, whats the new PT script? you should always leave in the old trackers & some people never change them, bc their tracker is working fine.  when you go to your myspace page, go to your ADBP at the top and hit blockable items.  view the items that are in red....those are blocked. then check the ones that are in green....do any look like the tracker & is it blocked?

Both trackers are blocked in red. Here's what shows for them when I check the blockable items in ABP...

For Trackspace:

"http://www.2tspace.com/profile/XXXXXXXXX/myspace.png" (the XX's are my MS profile ID)

The "filter" is listed as "2tspace.com"

Two entries for ProfileTracker:

"http://www.imaqeshack.us/(myaccountnameatPT).bmp"
"http://www.imaqeshack.us/(myaccountnameatPT).png"

The "filter" is listed as "imaqeshack.us"

Nothing resembling either one is in green.

On PT, when I check my MS profile, it reads:

"Found 2 trackers
Tracker: 2tspace.com found
Tracker: imaqeshack.us (Terikan's Tracker) found"

I had to take out the older codes from my MS profile, as the new PT script now has to go in the headline, as does the TS script. There wasn't room (along with my headline) for both new ones and the old TS one.

PT's instructions said to delete the old codes, or the new ones wouldn't work.

no hun, i meant in ABP. like leave the old trackers in there. i know you have to remove and things when you add new scripts. so, now im confused as to why you are being tracked. you just showed me its being blocked in red. what are the URL's in green? sorry, just trying to figure this out for you

Ah, I misunderstood.  
I haven't removed anything from ABP, just the older tracker scripts from my MS profile before adding the new ones.

I'll send you the URL's in green via PM, as many of them link to my profile.

OK, I feel like a real moron now... but there ISN'T anything in green in the blockable items in ABP for my MS page! All the ones that aren't red are in black, and have no "filters" connected with them. I had thought that maybe it was my computer screen settings, and that the stuff I was seeing in black was supposed to be green.   But I double-checked by clicking the blockable items on other types of web pages, and some of them have things in varying combinations of red, blue, black & green. So my myspace profile contains only the red blocked items and the black, unblocked ones. Nothing in green at all.

lol! no worries. well, green means you allowed those url's, scripts etc. to run on your page. black means its just showing anyway, that you havent manually allowed or blocked. so message me the black ones. i will take a look. it sounds like you are covered girl.

Angelfire- the above confuses me. What do you mean when you say checking your myspace profile at profiletracker?

Despite the script changes, PT is still using the same domain name to host the image that is part of the tracker, so nothing needs to be changed in adblock. The reference already in there for PT's domain will still block the image from loading. And the new trackspace domain is also in the tracker blocker list.

I'm going to assume (unless you say otherwise) that what you're trying to say is, when you view your MS profile you are able to see the PT and Trackspace trackers, and your view is showing as a hit on them? If that's the case, are you opening the blockable items pane before viewing your profile?

Oops, I meant checking my MS profile with Hide In the Sky.
(Now that HITS is only accessible thru PT, I think of them as one and the same.)

When I enter my own MS profile ID# in HITS, it gives me the basic info from my MS page, plus the info on the 2 trackers that I have.

Angelfire: just saw your posts today. I knew right away what you were looking at. HITS, that is, through PT. No, you cannot stop HITS from seeing your trackers and yes, anyone who uses it will know they are there. The She-Geeks tracker blocker is for your browsing; it keeps you invisible while you are snooping. In other words, your own PT code will not pick you up and display you when you look at your own page. Nor will any other person's code pick you up--however, it doesn't hide the fact that there are trackers on your MS page. All HITS does is analyze a page (which anyone could do by viewing the page source) and read the script that there are trackers there. As I said, even if HITS weren't doing it for you, you could peruse someone's page via page source and look for a tracker yourself. You can't hide them if someone knows what they are looking for.

I'm not sure I've been clear describing this, but the answer is: no matter what you do, HITS will see the tracker(s) and will display that there is a tracker on your page to anyone who looks at your page through it.

Real quick, in case I wasn't clear (because I'm often not): you are expecting something of the tracker blocker that it does not do. The tracker blocker does not hide the fact that you have a tracker on your page. It hides YOU from being tracked by the trackers on your or anyone else's page.
