Hi everyone;

I'm checking the site of my space mobile II (link provided below) and don't see how to register.

http://mobile.myspace.com/offdeckverus/login.wap

Do I also need an account at my space for this to work?

Much appreciated,
Tom

@Tom

To login to mobile, use a myspace.com account bc mobile doesn't provide registration at this time. They are essentially the same thing but myspace.com has more available options at this time. Let us know if you need any more assistance Smiley

Am I do something wrong?

Thanx,

It seems to work now.

"mobile version II --  mobile.myspace.com
-scroll to bottom of page, click "comments"

I scroll down and don't see the word "comments" anywhere.

How can I tell if its mobile I or II

Hi Jewels,thanx for responding;

I tried that before I posted and it says this "There are 0 comments in this folder"

So I thought I was doing something wrong.

How does that help me,doesn't look like it does. LOL

you need to leave your profile a comment then!!

Then you can use the read link, and get to your targets comments

I registered  tonite with my space and the only friend I see is a guy called Tom.For some reason he showed up and added himself as a friend and he seems to have a billion friends.

I clicked on his pic and then it says Tom's friends comments,OK,now what do i do.

Thats the owner of myspace. The directions that were written in the mobile threads will walk you through it step by step and are easy for n00bs like us to understand Grin

Hi hatcher;

I understand that other posts explain things,but for someone with no experience may have some questions,such as what is a read link,how to find a private profile ID,etc.

But,when I try Tom's friends comments,i click on their pic>my profile tab> my comments,and everyone looks like this.

@tomron

The screenshot you posted is from the normal myspace.com website. It is not the website you need to be on to use the current mobile codes.

List your exact questions in a post here and someone will gladly answer them for you.

I tried the link and it said that an error has occurred and is being reported to my space (paraphrased)

As mentioned a few times in recent posts in the actual code threads, that error can be "fixed" by just backpaging and/or starting over from the start. Mobile is currently re-directing you to the regular myspace.com website occasionally.

Post your questions and someone will be glad to answer them for you.

i just read a friends comments. that works too

That has already been listed in the directions for the mobile threads. Very aware. As mentioned in the directions; view any public comment/then change friend id.

Jewels was offering another option for that member. And just in case tracking is possible on mobile, it is wise to avoid going to certain pages if not necessary. Which is why it is wise to be using adblock. No one has confirmed that tracking is possible on mobile, but it is better to be on the safe side.

I think I was taking the wrong approach,meaning that how can I solve the problem if I don't understand the issue.Since I'm new to my space I don't know how that friend stuff works.

I sent requests to be a friend to some members on my space and I had to type a note and sometimes this "captha" thing would appear.

After I sent many requests to be friends some appeared in my profile.Does this mean that they are now my friend cause I checked their profile and I don't see me listed as their friend.

I check the profile on someone who now appears on my profile (don't know if there a friend)>all comments>is that what you're talking about.when I get to that page there are many comments.Do I use that URL?

The instructions are very easy and I'm not interested in the blog thing but i tried with no problems.

Its just the friend/comment thing I'm having issues with,nothing else.

When I first got my computer I knew nothing about computers and found a site that helps with people having issues and they helped me a lot.heres the link,and I use the same user name there as here.I don't know if i'm allowed to post a link to another site.

http://forums.cnet.com/

I got to the point that I was helping others and lost track of how many times I read "thanks Tom",point being I do pretty good with computers,again its just the friend/comment that I'm having difficulty with.
