I was using Myspace moblile from my PC to view some profiles, and all of a sudden something weird started going on.
Everything appears normally until you click on a person's profile and get to their "View Profile" page. At that point, the person's profile name at the top next to their pic is replaced by one of their old status messages !?!?
For instance, "Janiepoo" is now "Damn it's cold here today", which is a status message that is weeks old.
Another person's name was replaced by a status message that is YEARS old.
Yet another's name was replaced by her current status message.
These are all on 2.0 profiles.
I checked my own which is still 1.0, and my name is replaced by my headline.
On any profiles that have friends, comments, etc set to public, if you click on their friends list, it comes up normally with, say, "Janiepoo's Friends" at the top and with the names of all the friends displaying normally. But if you click on any one of them, their "View Profile" page has their name replaced by a status message or headline from the past or present. Same thing with Comments, Status History, and Photos.
The glitch is only in mobile, not on regular Myspace pages.
No idea what this is all about, but it sure is weird.
