Ok........my MS target has a private profile.  I looked on tuesday and his mood and status statement(ie going to the mall tonight) said blah blah blah now today I look again and it both is totally different HOWEVER the last login date still shows tuesdays date.  How can you change your status and mood without logging in???  Thoughts?

this can be done via myspace mobile.

Yah know thats what I thought HOWEVER wasnt 100% sure.  Question I have is that means until he actually logs in with his email and password the last login date will not update correct?

They are most likely logging in via myspaceIM and making changes...if you use myspaceIM and don't hit the "home" button..you can make any changes you want without updating your last login date..there is a few threads about this as well. I do this with my "real" profile.  note: mobile will update your last login date.

Now, that depends on what phone you are using, bc not all mobile phones update your last login.  Justy just failed to mention that on "some phones" is all, otherwise she was correct.

Well I updated "my profile" AND my fakespace BOTH via IM and mobile yesterday and today and BOTH show last login on the day I updated it.  I ran my targets profile in hideinthesky and status and mood updated both however last login hasnt changed(also no trackers)so I checked it on MS in Mozilla changed page style to "no style" to check for a script and there is nothing there.........WTF?

You're looking in the wrong place. No style won't reveal that info. You have to view the page source to see the actual last login and identify if there is code being used to alter it.

some phones do update the last login and some do not. we dont have a list of brand name phones to guide you with. sorry.

Ok I tried logging into myspace Instant Messager (IM) just now and it did NOT update my last login date until I hit the home button as stated above   Wanted to pass this along for someone that it may help. I've used myspacemobile many times but it was never dependant on what type of BRAND of phone I used. Myspacemobile is myspacemobile on any phone, right, no?

yes we have discussed in previous threads that myspace IM does not update your login.  the application is, but with some BRAND phones, its different. just as i previously stated.

this is the answer to your question. the application is myspace mobile on any cellphone, but the update of the login doesnt always work with all the brand cell phones. so yes, once again, the application is myspace mobile on any cellphone.
