Here's my thought, though I could be way off base:  when I messed with 2.0 awhile ago, there isn't an actual 'privacy' setting, though that could have changed.  Since they upgraded without the privacy setting intact, there is still the 'private profile' overlying setting, making the comments thus still 'private'.  Have you tried to do the mobile comment trick, see if it can grab the comments that way?

no problem...thought was if you could view the first 50, maybe, with the old mobile comment trick, you may view all.  Oh well, worth a shot.

I changed my profile over to 2.0 a few months ago and I swear I checked everything to make sure it was really private well today I noticed while signed onto my fake account that everything on my real account while in mobile is not private.  My profile is set to friends only on each module in the profile editor and on the privacy settings page, everything on the regular myspace is not viewable and says this profile is private.  I went back and reclicked all the settings again and saved them again.  But everything is still viewable.  I checked other peoples thinking that maybe it was some kind of glitch but theirs is still private.  Grrrrr this is annoying me.  I switched back to 1.0 for now, but anybody have any clue why it is doing this?

This is the best place to put this instead of starting a new thread I figured.
I was reading some of the ways to access a target on myspace and figured that I would just duplicate a profile of someone I know my target is friends w/ on facebook and this person I duplicated hasn't been on myspace in a couple of months.
Now tell me if I'm wrong here, but w/ 2.0, I have made my friends and comments section only visible to me. Meaning even though I don't have any other friends or comments, I can add my target because he won't be able to view that...am I correct in this thinking?
I am thinking it might just work, since the profile I duplicated was public it looks like it is really her! And my target wasn't a friend of hers...
Any thoughts or concerns that anyone has, that I may not have thought of?

I'd add some people you know are on their friends list, even if its just some bands or people you know will add you. That way when they get your friend request and check for mutual friends you will have some. Whenever I get a new friend request I always look at what friends we have in common.

I have started to do that...I checked from myspace mobile and you can view the comments and friends from mobile when you become friends!  Which totally blew my theory.  Although my next concern is that the people who are friends with her on facebook may be wondering why she is re-adding them on facebook.  But maybe not...who knows!  We shall see
