Use Myspacemobile to quickly perform searches
**Mobile has added in new search parameters**

Earlier I was attempting to search for a profile via myspace.com.

I landed on this message from Tom..

.. The function that you are currently trying to use is disabled and will be back shortly.

We are making some minor changes to this section so please bear with us until we can get it back online.

Please do NOT email me about this. Just wait it out. Sep 15, 2008 -Tom

Since I was doing just a "email query" I usually just hop over to myspacemobile and look it up that way via the mobile search function.
That search function only allowed searches by email addys...until now..

..They have added in new mobile profile search parameters..

"To find a MySpace user, enter their first and last name, email address, vanity url, or display name."

Finally.

Also, the new home page on myspace can bog down peoples page loading time. You can bypass the bog-time by using mobile to perform searches (such as if you plan to do many searches, it can reduce the amount of time you spend)

**Too bad that it doesn't allow numeric friend ID searches..
..Because then you could automate the search with urlscan.hierzo.be
..Which would drastically decrease the "wait-time" of sifting through hundreds of profiles in one sitting Wink

Correction: I meant login page.

Wanted to add, that you can also bypass getting tracked by headline trackers by searching profiles via myspacemobile--since no one has ever confirmed that myspacemobile will track you. Just a random tip for people that it applies to.
