Block certain IP addys, Friend ID's and Browser Types. Any way around this?

"Here's the code to Block certain IP addys, Friend ID's and Browser Types". Any way around this?

Yes ....

IP addy - reset your modem, your IP will change, use a proxy, or use TOR which will place you all over the map.
Friend ID's - Use a fakespace
Browser Types - use a different browser, they can't block ALL of them! And there are tons of browsers out there that you've never heard of. Most people know IE, FF, and Opera (well maybe only some know Opera-LOL) but just a quick tour of portableapps.com will reveal browsers you've never even heard of.

Bear in mind most of us savy enough to use that blocking will stay with the IP and FriendID blocking. Most normally won't go into browser blocking otherwise their friends wouldn't be able to see their page. It's usually selectively aimed at a few stalkers that we know aren't too tech-savy. It's not going to keep out anyone who has half a clue.

Need any creative work done? I recommend Bryan Langdeau. This man's work has been blowing me away since he was 10 years old...

This question was just stupid.. and a good example of why I shouldn't use myspace when I'm drunk lol
Thanks for your time.

Not really audio - newbies probably don't even realize that ip/host name/browser/friendID blocking is possible and being practiced by some of us. So it's a good bit of info for them on it's availability and how to circumvent it. Smiley

i know this is stupid and doubtful...but is there?

i don't want to have my page on private, but it's the only way to keep one of my stalkers away...each time i've blocked her, she's created alternate accounts to keep viewing my page. is there any way i can totally keep her off my page by blocking her IP address or something?

Moderator note:  If you tried to block their computer...they can easily go to another computer or use a proxy, etc. and still see your profile.  Even if myspace blocked her ip (which they rarely do) she could still use a proxy to get on.

There is really no way to stop someone from seeing your page.  You can try the code for blocking all non-friends. Or report her as a imposter profile.
