Favorites showing real first name today

Ok, so I save a new person to my favorites list this morning and noticed it changed all the first names to the real first name instead of whatever they have put there profile name to.  So somebody that would have something like ~supergirl~ is showing Jane.  I am sure it is a myspace glitch, but it is interesting if you are wanting to know someones first name.  It didnt change until I saved a new person.  I tried it out on my fake profile too and it did the same thing.

that is odd!  I just tried it but I'm getting the screen names and not the real names.  so many glitches with these sites~! LOL

It worked for me but it went back to the old way when I left the page and went back to it . Also , if anyone cares you dont have to add someone new , you can readd someone you already have added .

Yeah it does go back once you leave the page, but as of right now if you just do it again you can see it again.  Interestingly, it also shows the online now icon if they are online in the favorites list when it is like that too.

I just did this with my target, and noticed that on one of her profiles (she has two), the "Orientation" and "Profile Updated" info changed from when I first added it to favorites, to when I left the page and then came back to it.

I don't know if the first name changed or not, since my target uses her real first name on both profiles anyway (one version beginning with an uppercase letter, the other with lowercase), but on the one profile her orientation went from "Straight" when I first added it to "No answer" when I left & came back, and the "Profile Updated" went from "Nov. 18, 2008" when first added back to "Oct. 8, 2008" when I left & came back.

I deleted it and did it all again, and the same thing happened. The info on that profile upon first adding to favorites seems to be about 5 weeks more current than the info shown when it reverts back. The other profile stayed the same in all respects.

Don't know if all that means anything in particular, but there it is just in case.

I tried it on another profile, and the "Profile Updated" date changed on that one, too -- from "Dec. 27, 2008" at first to reverting back to "Nov. 30, 2008" when I left the page and came back to it. Just under a month difference on that one.

Both profiles that changed are 1.0, the one that didn't is 2.0 -- don't know if that has anything to do with it, or if the 2.0 profile info simply hasn't changed in awhile.

I did these from my fakespace -- I added my real profile (1.0) to favs but nothing changed; then again, I haven't changed anything since the date shown, so no surprise there. Anyway, the info on some profiles using this trick is more current than what it "flips back" to when you leave the page, FWIW.

Yeah, I also noticed that the normal favorites list shows no answer on everybody's orientation, but today if you do this if they have an answer on there it will show, straight, geek, bi or whatever.

I just wonder if myspace is changing this function somehow, cause it seems that when there are glitches like these within a few weeks there is some kind of update or change to the function.  I like the favorites list, I hope they do screw it up somehow.....lol.
