I don't know if they made 'wall post' as an app yet, because those are the only ways (via privacy settings) one could show posting to all but one friend.  Also, facebooks='s feed has been odd, as it withholds some info that may have actually happened.  Or, they could've deleted that specific story, etc.  However, with 800 friends, they all may not have posted on the wall of your target, as lgamez suggested.

I didn't think that I was losing my mind.  And I know with 800 friends, that not every person or even 10% would leave comments.  However, the wall's that I have been checking are my target's family and I would assume that with the number of posts on these wall's from my target, that someone at some point would have had to left something!

Fingers crossed - I will keep checking...thanks for the responses!

Could someone help me with a couple more questions about strategy?  I'm not getting very far.....

1> Does it matter from what page  you use your target's id?

2>  Should you be logged into Facebook when you do this?  I've tried this but it only gives his pic, pic's of a few friends of his, and the options to send a message, etc.

3>  My target and I are not friends, have no friends in common but we do have friends of friends.   Should I be doing something with any of these pages?

4>  Is it recommended  to set up a dummy acount?   Any tips or cautions I should know about before  doing this?

Many Thanks Again,
Lilbit

Something that I just found useful the other day is the networks in facebook. Do a search for your targets name. Under the bame may say something like a town or school etc. If you are in a different network, create a dummy account with the same network and see if you can see their wall that way. If you cannot, see if the list of friends have common networks and do the same for them. I was able to see a lot of the friends walls by creating new accounts, with different email addresses and different networks! That may help! It was like Christmas morning "unlocking" the walls of my targets friends I wasn't even friends with!
Good luck!

Now - this search should be done from .... within facebook & logged in - or from google search bar -  or does it matter?

I don't know if there's a way 2 do any searches w/out being signed in. So I am always signed in. I search from within facebook. From my understanding and what I have read on here there is no way to track people viewing profiles so I have done searches from my actual FB account. Then when I view my targets friends, I look to see if there is a common network and join that network from a dummy account. But there were a couple people I really wanted to see their wall so I made another dummy account and joined that network as well. It amazes me that people let others view their profile with people in that network! Lots of goodies...however no link to view my actual targets...  Sad

@ Lilbit...

1) Your target's id works in any page you plug it into in facebook.

2) Being logged in will be the best way to get info, and google works a little too, but my favorite "people search" site has brought up tons of stuff for my target, and may do so for you too. (Spokeo.com)

3) Keep track of the friends of friends, because the "People you may know" feature on Facebook may bring those people up on your targets page, and your target may add them, or they may request to add your target.

4) Dummy accounts are good if you have a very to somewhat gulible target. Do a search on the main forum, because I'm pretty sure I remember someone posted some good guidelines for creating a fake account, I just can't remember under what topic or thread.

So I have a question...I have pretty much been on an adding spree on facebook.  I attempted to add a target that was mutual friends of both of my targets.  I didn't obviously realize this until after I was in a different network.  So "I" am this really hot chick (guys are such suckers for a pretty girl, no offense to any of the guys here!).  So all of these people from network 1 are adding me...so then onto another network, which have some of my new friends as being mutual with targets and so on and so on!  So, these guys add me and then write on my wall, "do I know you?"  This is where I am stuck!  Something creative...the school is kind of a small school, so I changed my graduation year so there's a "possiblity" that they know me!  I need something...anything!  Now apparently everyone is wondering!
Any help is much appreciated!  Or do I go with the flirty..."don't you wish you knew me?"  HAHAHAHA

If I were you, I'd go with flirty. Plus, you can also say something along the lines of "you appeared on the You May Also Know list, so I added you and other cute guys" or something like that.

I don't exactly need help, but I do have a question.  So a few hours ago, my target's FB was private, it's been private since July.  All at once, her wall, profile, and music pages are open to me.  I signed in with my actual FB account and everything went back to private, but when I logged back in with my fake profile it was still open.  Did this happen because of the new FB changes that are supposed to start occurring?

to fcd123

The trick seems to stem from having mutual friend’s with your target, and viewing target’s page from within your mutual friend’s page.   (Moderators do I have this right?)

 Here’s what has worked for me;

1>>Go to a  mutual (between you and your target) friend’s page.  Look on the left,  where it says “some of  mutual friend’s friends” and there should be an option for  “view all” - click on "view all".

2>>Sift through  your mutual friends pics and  find your target’s pic and click on that (you’re now  2 layers down).  You should see whatever info your target has allowed to be found.

3>>Hopefully on your target’s page’s there should again be  “some of target’s friends” and an option to “view all”.  Click on "view all".

You should now be able to see all your target’s friends.  I don’t know why but this has been working for me,  my target’s count has been rising.

I hope the moderators are monitoring this page for accuracy, as I am new myself and have a lot to learn.
