Is this the one you were looking for?

I think AJ said this one was patched sometime in the last week or so due to some changes FB made. So if you try it out-let us know if it's successful for you or not.

Question...and probably super dumb, but I just don't know this...
Ok, so I am able to look at my targets pics in facebook (I am not his friend) - there is a tag of another person in the photo, but this person doesn't appear to have a profile (I have checked many times and can't find anything)...there is a comment on this photo by another person (a friend of this "no-profile wonder") and there isn't a default photo and her name is black and un-clickable. Does this mean this person also does not have a profile?
Ultimately I would like to look at the profile of the person who commented, but I get nothing...no profile ID and no way to click on it!
Pardon me for being dunce, but this has me puzzled! Thanks!

I believe it means that this person changed their privacy settings to friends only. You can go in you account in choose not to be searched by your name or your email. Also you can choose not to have your default picture visible to anyone that's not your friends list.

wow, um...a couple of ways: one, if they tagged the 'target' in a photo, and they didn't change the photo settings to private, you can grab the photo id that way. Another involves doing a page source, but, you'd have a lot of digging through gobbledygook, which would make it tough to find. I mean, it's gotten tougher, so I don't know what still works to grab the id, minus really the photo part.

Is that wow shock or dismay?
One of my targets has a photo up & I can view his albums (I saved the ids thanks 2 she-geeks!) & my second target is tagged. But the link is NOT clickable & I did search through the source code but maybe just not good enough! I am sure she has pics posted on her profile, but searches on fb have come up with me not finding her at all which is just annoying & making me more determined! But all her myspace photos are viewable to the public - people are very odd! Any suggestions that maybe I haven't thought of? Much appreciation!

when you're searching the source code use ctrl f and search for the username or "private user" if that's how it listed. Look around the area the search leads to you to see if you can find a friend ID anywhere.

ok, so I checked the source around the name of my target to no avail...HOWEVER, through checking mutual friends of friends of another target, I used the we're related app and found a no profiled person who was related to all the same people! So, I have "assumed" that this is the person that I was looking for and got the profile ID that way! Super exciting for me...now, I have tried to manipulate url's for photos with no luck and I am wondering, is there anyway to use this id for anything...just to make certain it's who I am looking for?
Darn you she-geeks...I have so much work to do, but can't stop searching the forums! This could be a work hazard!

Good morning,
On Facebook, my friend was tagged in some photos and they were visible under their wall info and within their pictures under tagged photos. Under their main profile the their "view photos of xxx 93" number count went up. Today when I enter my friend's page under their default pic where it states, "view photos of xxxx 103", the number of photos keeps going up. I'm assuming that is the number of their tagged photos. But when I go into their pics their tagged photos count is less (stating 93 photos) than stated on their main page and their album number of pics are still the same. Does it mean that my friend is untagging themselves and the number count will still keep going up? Or does it mean that my friend has blocked me from viewing certain tagged photos?
If someone knows the answer please let me know. Hope y'all are having a good day.

simple answer is they are being tagged by people who DO NOT ALLOW non-friends to view the photos. Your target isn't untagging him or herself, just the privacy settings of those who are doing the tagging.

I see, that makes total sense. I know who the person is that is tagging them. Another quick question...would that black seegugio work to see the non viewable tagged pictures even though the person who is tagged them has their settings to friends only?

Here are my first questions about Facebook-
1.What does it mean to "tag" a picture?
2. I searched for my target and his pic came up along with a few friends, and 1 app he uses. I looked at the bottom of the screen and a long, 2-part number with a decimal point showed in the code. I don't know if that was his id or a number assigned to the search I performed.
I would like to find his profile id - we are not friends on facebook. I can get to his pic via a search - either from google or facebook. Can I find his FB id form a pic gained from a search? What are the steps to take?
Getting addicted already...

1. When a picture is tagged, it means that the owner of the picture has identified that other facebook users are in the picture, i.e., I have a picture of my husband and I, and I have tagged my husband in that picture, which would then show that he was tagged, and would provide a link to his profile by clicking on his name.
2. If you've found your targets profile, the web address should look something like this:
http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/profile.php?id=
xxxxxxxxx
&ref=ts
with the
xxxxxxxxx
being your targets id. If you see ".jpg" anywhere in the string that contains the 2 part number with the decimal point, then that is the photo id, which has gotten complicated to predict, as facebook continues to make changes. When you searched for him on facebook, did his profile come up? Because if it did, you should see the string I mentioned above.
