change the location of blockable items pane
If you’ve been using the Firefox extension Adblock for a while, you likely keep the blockable items pane open quite often. However if you’re like me, you probably don’t find the positioning of the pane at the bottom of your browser very useful. It must be kept very small, otherwise it takes up valuable browser real estate. This makes it difficult to view your blockable items, or rather, more difficult than it needs to be.
I prefer the old style, when the blockable items opened in a left side pane. This seems to take up less viewing area on webpages, and allows you to see far more of your blockable items with a casual glance. And with a handy userstyle written by Adblock’s author, you can have your side pane back. First you will need to install Stylish and then this handy Style by clicking the “load into Stylish” button. Once you restart your browser, your blockable items will now load in the handy old left pane.
And this style doesn’t interfere with your usage of other sidebars. It also gives you the option of loading in a right side pane, or up top, so you can customize it to your liking. Enjoy a much more usable adblock now :)
